Job summary

Precept Recruit is seeking a Warehouse Operations Administrator for a short-term contract in an on-site role in the East Midlands. The position offers 40 hours per week at £12.76 per hour, with immediate start and a focus on accurate handling of returned IT and EPOS equipment.

Responsibilities include logging, checking against paperwork, recording serials, and coordinating inspections or disposals to support ongoing projects and field activity.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse administration, stock control or returns processing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using systems such as WMS, ERP or asset tracking.
• Good organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume administration in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Logging and processing returned equipment from engineers and sites.
• Checking returns against paperwork, records and system data.
• Recording serial numbers and tracking stock movements.
• Coordinating inspection, repair, refurbishment or disposal routes.
• Investigating missing or damaged items and flagging issues.
• Preparing equipment for testing, redeployment or vendor return.
• Keeping records, reports and documentation accurate and up to date.
