Job summary

GI Group Main Account is seeking a Warehouse / Packing Operative (Goods In & Dispatch) for a Life Sciences manufacturing site in Church Stretton. The role is dayshift, 37.5 hours per week, on a 18-month temporary contract with full training provided.

You will pick and pack orders, receive deliveries, perform stock checks, prepare products for dispatch, and keep the workspace compliant with site EH&S and Quality procedures. SAP exposure is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions with accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Physically capable of standing and walking throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders for dispatch.
• Receiving deliveries and goods-in checks.
• Stock checks and inventory counts in storage locations.
• Preparing, dispensing and final packaging of products for distribution.
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and organised.
• Completing basic records (paperwork / system entries).
• Working safely and following EH&S and Quality procedures.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities and site projects.
