Job summary

Gi Group is seeking a Production Operative in Church Stretton to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will assist with picking and packing, receiving deliveries, counting stock, and packaging products for distribution.

The role emphasizes following EH&S and Quality guidelines, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to Continuous Improvement on site. The position is a fixed-term 18-month contract, 37.5 hours per week, with training provided and a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders for distribution.
• Handle incoming deliveries, verify goods against docs and record receipt.
• Perform inventory counts in designated locations.
• Prepare, dispense, and finalize packaging for distribution.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment; follow EH&S guidelines.
• Record all process tasks accurately and timely.
• Support continuous improvement projects on site.
