Job summary

QS Recruitment in Leicester is seeking an experienced Order Picker for a busy warehouse and distribution operation. Immediate start available, temp contract, day shift 11:00–19:00, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend overtime.

You will handle order picking, decanting, stock processing, scan with handheld RF and barcode readers, re-label, and prep items for dispatch, while maintaining accuracy and productivity targets. Physical fitness and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse environment.
• Experience using handheld RF scanners and barcode scanners.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Physically fit with ability to undertake manual handling and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Perform order picking and packing duties.
• Handle decanting and stock processing.
• Scan goods using handheld RF scanners and barcode readers.
• Re-label products as required.
• Prepare items for onward dispatch.
• Support packing and dispatch with manual handling as needed.
