Job summary

DCS Group is seeking an experienced Order Picker to join our Warehouse team in Banbury, United Kingdom. You will accurately pick goods using scanners or a headset, build secure pallets and handle stock safely to minimize damage.

You will follow customer-specific instructions, maintain stock movement and operate PPT equipment in line with health and safety requirements. Relevant training will be provided, including Safety, Manual Handling, GDP and Quality Management System induction.

Qualifications

• Trained and confident in the use of a PPT.
• Good numerical skills are necessary.
• Accurate, dependable and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Pride in handling stock and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Pick the correct quantity and type of product using scanners or a headset.
• Follow customer-specific picking instructions.
• Handle products carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
• Report damaged or contaminated stock promptly.
• Build and shrink-wrap stable pallets for transportation.
• Complete pre-operational checks before using PPT equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and in line with regulations.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and GDP requirements.
• Maintain high standards of Health and Safety.
• Support with general warehouse duties when required.
