Job summary

Howdens Joinery is looking for a Warehouse Person to join our depot in Bow. You’ll help ensure stock is correctly handled, stored and prepared for delivery or collection, while maintaining high health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock handling and warehouse operations.
• Understanding of health and safety in a warehouse environment.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills for records and stock checks.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock in line with safety standards.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and maintain equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Perform regular stock checks and keep accurate records.
• Keep the warehouse tidy and well-organised with good stock rotation.
• Assist trade customers with a professional service.
• Support deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Work with the depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
