Job summary

Gulf Agency Company (GAC) is recruiting a Warehouse Operator in Aberdeen to join our logistics team. You will handle goods in, stock checks, and order processing while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will work with colleagues across warehousing and clients, ensuring accurate pick/pack activities for North Sea and international freight. Forklift duties may be required, with training provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of a proactive safety culture.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products is desirable.
• Attention to detail with a proactive mindset.
• Willingness to undergo training for forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out activities to the highest standards with a proactive QHSSE approach.
• Liaise with logistics colleagues, warehouse and clients via email to ensure requirements are met.
• Ensure cargo is safely handled and stored.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Goods in, line checking and put away using in-house stock system.
• Complete pick and pack for North Sea and international freight; process through systems.
• Pack and secure containers for shipping.
• Forklift duties including loading/unloading and put away in warehouse/yard.
• Manage emails/Teams communications and respond to requests promptly.

Could you be the person we are looking for to join us as our new Warehouse Operator in Aberdeen? We want to hear from you.

What would your day at GAC look like?

• Ensuring all activity is carried out to the highest standards and with a proactive QHSSE approach
• Liaising with logistics colleagues, warehouse and clients to ensure requirements are met both verbally and via e-mail.
• Ensuring all cargo is safely handled and stored
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Goods in, line checking and put away – both physically and using our in-house stock management system.
• Completing pick and packs for North Sea and international freight and processing through systems.
• Packing and securing of containers for shipping.
• Forklift duties – loading/unloading transport, put away in warehouse/yard.
• Management of communication media (e-mails and Teams messages) and efficient monitoring and processing of e-mail requests and queries.

Job requirements

Upon completion of training, the successful candidate will join the duty rota which consists of evening and weekend work as we are available 24/7 for our customers.
