Job summary

OSW - Leading Solar Distribution Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support order fulfilment and stock management. You will pack orders, prepare deliveries, move stock, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse in line with H&S guidelines.

The role requires good communication and organisational skills, plus basic data entry and inventory handling. This is a hands-on, on-site role that collaborates with Warehouse Manager to optimise processes and ensure timely dispatches.

• Process and prepare orders, including pulling, packing, and moving materials to delivery areas.
• Communicate with customers and team to ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including unloading trucks and checking merchandise.
• Operate counter-balance forklifts safely as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by recording stock movements and assisting with stocktaking.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Wear required PPE and follow H&S guidelines at all times.

Position Objectives:

To ensure all orders are packed accurately for customer or courier pick up. Also, to ensure the warehouse is organised in a way which maximises efficiency and is safe and clear from obstacles.Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Warehouse operator requires to follow Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager instructions and complete his job task in timely manner, communicating and seeking warehouse manager and state operation manager assistance if necessary.
