Job summary

Harvey Nash are hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our logistics team. You will perform day-to-day warehouse tasks, receive, store, move and dispatch goods, and uphold safety and accuracy across all processes.

You should have good attention to detail, basic IT skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Prior warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, and the role is on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required (warehouse or logistics qualifications are an advantage but not essential).
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries against delivery notes, reporting any discrepancies.
• Book in stock accurately on warehouse systems and ensure correct labelling and storage.
• Move, lift, and store products safely within the warehouse, following manual handling guidelines.
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch in line with operational requirements and deadlines.
• Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Wrap and secure pallets to ensure safe transportation of goods.
• Maintain accurate stock control, including stock counts and inventory checks.
• Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and stock rotation principles are followed where required.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Report any damages, faults, or discrepancies to the line manager.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support the team.
