SUMMARY
To support warehouse operations through the efficient receipt, storage, control, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accuracy, safety, and service levels are maintained.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Book goods into company systems and report any discrepancies.
- Label and store materials in designated locations.
- Pick and issue materials to production or internal departments.
- Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock checks.
- Ensure correct storage and stock rotation practices are followed.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Complete dispatch documentation and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers and courier services regarding deliveries and collections.
- Update shipment records and maintain accurate dispatch information within company systems.
- Load vehicles safely and ensure orders are sent on time.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in warehousing, inventory management, and logistics.
EXPERIENCE
- IFS or other ERP system experience is essential
- Manual handling experience essential
- Experience of working in an Operations environment

- Good standard of general education, including literacy and numeracy skills sufficient to accurately complete warehouse and logistics documentation.
- Manual handling knowledge and experience.
- Training or certification in inventory management systems or ERP systems (D)
Experience, knowledge and understanding
- Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics, stores or supply chain environment.
- Experience of using IFS or a similar ERP system for goods receipt, stock management and dispatch activities.
- Experience of manual handling and safe movement of goods and materials.
- Understanding of warehouse processes including receiving, storing, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch.
Skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
