Job summary

MFI.co.uk is seeking a Warehouse Operative to keep stock moving and customers happy. You’ll unload deliveries, inspect goods and ensure items are stored correctly. You’ll use a Warehouse Management System to pick and pack orders, and operate pallet trucks safely at the Skelmersdale site to maintain a showroom-ready workspace.

You’ll be on the Sat–Tue shift (7:30am–6:30pm), 40 hours per week, with a focus on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness required; you’ll be on your feet and moving stock.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic IT literacy; systems are user-friendly.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

What’s on the Table? (The Role)

You’re the engine room of our operation. You won't just be 'shelf-ish' with your time; you’ll be vital in ensuring our customers get exactly what they ordered, right when they need it.

Your daily 'to-do' list:

• Unload & Inspect: Checking deliveries with an eye for detail sharper than a designer coffee table.

• Stock Superstars: Organising and storing goods so everything has its perfect place.

• Pick & Pack: Using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to find and prep orders with speed and accuracy.

• Safety First: Operating pallet trucks and manual handling equipment like a pro. (Got PPT experience? Even better! We’ll assess you to get you moving).

• Quality Control: Ensuring every box is packed securely so it arrives in \"showroom\" condition.
