The role covers 3 rotating shifts across days, afters and nights, total 39 hours per week, with a temporary-to-permanent contract based on performance. Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to work on 3 rotating shifts for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

Warehouse Operative Details

Shifts: 3 rotational shifts Monday to Friday - days 6am to 2pm, afters 2pm to 10pm and nights 10pm to 6am (early finish on Fridays) - please do not apply if you can not work all 3 rotating shifts

Total: 39 hours per week paid weekly

Start dates: Monday 7th September 2026 - please do not apply if you are not available to start on this date or have holidays booked in the next 12 weeks as this is the crucial training period

Pay Rates: £15.93 for days and afters & £16.94 for nights - rates include an attendance bonus based on 39 hours worked each week

Contract: Temporary to Permanent based on performance, attendance and client requirement

Minimum Daily Requirements (picking Targets)Warehouse Operative Criteria

• Previous warehouse/picking experience essential
• Hard working, reliable and punctual

Machine Operating Experience Preferred

• FLT licence or experience preferred but not essential

Experience Of Operating Hand Scanners Essential

• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills

**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires lifting heavy items, pushing a trolley, being on your feet and lots of walking as part of the day to day duties**
