Job summary

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting a Production Operative for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72. The role involves working in the processing plant, operating machinery, and quality checking finished products.

Shifts rotate between days, afternoons, and nights; 39 hours per week with a temporary-to-permanent contract after 12 weeks based on performance. Applicants should be reliable, hardworking and able to handle manual handling tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly/production/manufacturing experience essential.
• CNC or machine operating experience preferred but not essential.
• Able to work rotating shifts.
• Hard working, reliable and punctual.
• Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills.
• This is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling.

Pro-Found Recruitment are recruiting a Production Operative for our client based in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72.

Production Operative Benefits

• Monday to Friday Rotating shifts – Days 6am to 2pm, afters 2pm to 10pm and Nights 10pm to 6am – these shifts rotate each week and Fridays are an early finish
• Hours: 39 hours per week paid weekly
• Start date: Monday 27th July 2026
• Pay Rates: £15.38 for days/afters & £16.36 for nights
• Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks based on performance, attendance and client requirement
• Location: Grimethorpe, Barnsley, S72
