Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking Warehouse Operatives for our Distribution Centre in Monkspath, Solihull (B90 4NY). The role offers a permanent full-time position with three 5-day shifts per week (12:00–20:00, 14:00–22:00, 18:00–02:00) and a weekend day.

You will be paid £14.85 per hour (£12.35 under 21) with a guaranteed 37.5 hours and overtime opportunities. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, regular breaks, full training, free canteen facilities, 15% staff discount in 300+ shops, smart uniform

• Aged 18 or over (Health and Safety).

Hours, Pay & Benefits

• Hours: 37.5hours across 5 days per week.

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our Distribution Centre in Monkspath - Solihull, West Midlands (postcode: B90 4NY).

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns include:

• Afternoon shift – from 12:00 to 20:00
• Late shift – From 14:00 to 22:00
• Night shift – From 18:00 to 02:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £14.85per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35if you are under 21).

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you're looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our warehouse operatives you will:

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
• Keep accurate records.
• Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.

Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders however there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods in and loading operations.

You will need:

• To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
