Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is hiring Warehouse Operatives at our Warrington distribution centre in Appleton. You will pick orders for our shops, work 37.5 hours across 5 days, with shifts including afternoons from 12:00 to 20:00. A permanent full-time role with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Requirements include being 18+, physically fit, and a positive, team-minded approach. Experience in warehousing is welcome but not essential.

Job description

Warehouse Operative

Hours: 37.5hours across 5 days per week.
-Pay: £13.69- £14.85per hour.

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our Distribution Centre inAppleton, Warrington (postcode: WA4 4SN).

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns include:

• Afternoon shift - from 12:00 to 20:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69per hour for day shifts (£10.90if you are under 21) and £14.85per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35if you are under 21).

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our warehouse operatives you will:

Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders however there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods in and loading operations.

You will need:

• To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
