Farmfoods is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our distribution centre in Avonmouth, Bristol (BS35 4GH). The role is permanent and full-time, with 37.5 hours per week across five days, including at least one weekend day. Afternoon shifts run 12:00–20:00 with overtime often available.

You will pick stock onto pallets for shops, keep records, and help with warehouse maintenance while adhering to site health and safety rules. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, staff discount, and more.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role.
• Physically fit for a demanding warehouse role and productivity targets.
• Friendly, positive, hard-working approach; warehouse or manual handling experience is a plus.

Warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our Distribution Centre in Avonmouth, Bristol (postcode: BS35 4GH). We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns include:

• Afternoon shift - From 12:00 to 20:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £17.59 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you're looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our warehouse operatives you will:

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
• Keep accurate records.
• Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.

Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders however there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods in and loading operations.

You will need:

• To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
