Farmfoods is seeking warehouse operatives at the new Daventry distribution centre in Northamptonshire. Roles include picking orders, with shifts across day, late and night patterns, 5 days from 7, with at least one weekend day.

Permanent full-time positions with benefits and a 37.5 hour week, plus overtime opportunities. We offer 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, and a comprehensive staff benefits package.

Job description

Warehouse Operative - Hours: 37.5 hours across 5 days per week. - Pay: £13.69 - £14.85 per hour. - Benefits: 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount, staff benefits package, and more! We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

• Address: Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.
• Positions starting in September.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

• Day shift - From 06:00 to 14:00
• Late shift - From 14:00 to 22:00
• Night shift - From 22:00 to 06:00

Pay, working hours & benefits: We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21). You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you're looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders however there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods in and loading operations.

You will need:

• - To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• - To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• - A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• - Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
