Henderson Group is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (Assembler) on a Backshift basis in Newtownabbey/Mallusk. The role runs a 38-hour week with specific shift patterns and involves voice-picking, heavy item handling, labelling, and strict safety compliance.

You will maintain warehouse standards, complete paperwork, and work closely with the team to hit production targets. Full-time hours are Monday to Thursday 12:00–20:00 and Sunday 10:00–18:30, at Henderson Foodservice facilities.

Qualificações

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience working within a warehouse operation (or similar environment).
• Current Manual Handling training.
• A demonstrable ability to work towards targets and KPIs.
• A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
• A positive, team-focused approach to work.

Responsabilidades

• Order Picker – Order picking of various products inclusive of heavy items into cages by customer using a voice picking methodology.
• Manual Handling– Operating machinery needed for assembly. Pushing cages and lifting weights up to 25kg using the correct technique to avoid injury.
• Labelling & Documentation – Applying labels and barcodes, completing relevant paperwork.
• Maintaining Warehouse Standards – Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and free from hazards.
• Following Safety Procedures – Adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Collaborating with Team Members – Working efficiently with colleagues to meet production targets.

Essential Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need:

It is desirable if you have:

• Experience of picking within a warehouse environment


• LLOP / Pick Truck experience, with a valid LLOP licence or equivalent
