Job summary

Sainsbury's Local Fulfilment Centre in Washington, Tyne and Wear is hiring for part-time overnight roles. You will pick orders in the depot, guided by a headset, and ensure fast delivery to waiting drivers and customers.

We offer 22.5 hours per week with shifts from 18:00 to 06:00, and a supportive team environment with opportunities to develop. Right to work in the UK and a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points are required.

Responsibilities

• Youll work overnight picking the correct orders in the depot and deliver them quickly to waiting drivers and customers.
• Youll also be placing deliveries away in the correct storage locations.
• The centre relies on teamwork and youll quickly become part of a friendly, supportive shift team.

You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK

You must be fully licenced to drive and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on it.

Prefer to work overnight? Our Argos Local Fulfilment Centres (LFC’s) are a 24-hour operation, we offer a brilliant choice and quick service to our customers. We offer online ordering, home delivery and click and collect services to our customers, and to do this efficiently we need brilliant colleagues to move and manage our stock to make sure our customers get exactly what they have ordered and receive a brilliant experience.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work overnight, guided via headset where the orders are in the depot, pick the right ones, and deliver those quickly to waiting drivers and customers. You’ll also be putting deliveries away in the correct place.

The centre is built on teamwork, and you’ll soon get into the rhythm of the job with friendly colleagues around to help you.
