Job summary

Sainsbury's Group is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a team in our Fulfilment Centre operations. You will drive customer and operational performance on a compact site within a larger logistics facility, while embedding continuous improvement in our processes.

Role requires leadership experience in retail e-commerce, managing KPIs across service, productivity and cost, and the ability to respond quickly to demand changes to ensure a first-class service.

• Leadership experience managing teams within a retail e-commerce operation.
• Experience delivering operational and customer KPIs while balancing service, productivity and cost.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and develop a team within a compact site that sits within a larger shared logistics facility, driving excellent customer and operational performance.

• Accountable for overseeing delivery resources and fleet operations to ensure safe and efficient service.
• Respond to customer demand and trading volume changes by flexing operational resources to achieve service targets.
• Ensure compliance with legal and safety frameworks while being accountable for recruitment and headcount planning.
