Job summary

Moran Logistics are seeking Warehouse Operatives at our Castle Donington site to manage a chilled warehouse, ensuring orders are picked, goods-in receipted, and loads despatched securely. The role requires PPT experience and strong attention to detail.

You will report to the Warehouse Shift Manager and work 18:00–06:00 on a 4 on 4 off pattern, handling manual loading, stock rotation, and accurate paperwork. Excellent hygiene and safety practices are expected.

• Good communication and listening skills.

• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Previous PPT Experience needed.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Good numeracy and literacy.

• Hard working and good attention to detail is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are picked accurately
• Ensure goods-in are receipted in accordance with policy
• Ensure all loads are checked and completed in full prior to despatch
• Ensure all loads are secure prior to despatch
• To ensure stock rotation is maintained at all times
• Manually load and unload trailers
• Confirm inbound and outbound loads are accurate; report discrepancies to Warehouse Shift Manager
• Assist with stock cycle count
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately
• Work efficiently to agreed timescales
• Follow safe working practices
• Promptly report accidents and incidents to line manager
• Assist in accident investigations as necessary
• Maintain high levels of site hygiene standards
• Adhere to site rules and QEHS policies
• Keep Shift Manager up to date with issues affecting deadlines
• Communicate issues to line manager that could impact business

We currently have a number of vacancies for Warehouse Operatives, Loaders and Pickers at our Castle Donington site, working in a chilled warehouse (+2°), the shift patterns available for this role are days, 4 on 4 off, working 18:00 – 06:00, offering a competitive hourly rate.

About the role:

Reporting directly to the Warehouse Shift Manager this role is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the chilled warehouse and the team within this area ensuring all the operational requirements are met and the team are managed in line with company policy and procedure. PPT Experience is required!

Key responsibilities of our Warehouse Operative:

• Ensure orders are picked accurately
