Job summary

Romac Logistics Ltd. in Chesterfield is hiring for a full-time warehouse role in a fridge environment. You will receive, check and put away stock, load and unload trailers, and complete quality and temperature checks while following health and safety rules.

The role requires reliability, teamwork, and good English with basic numeracy; previous warehouse experience is preferred and PPT/MHE familiarity is desirable. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred (minimum 1 year desirable).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Being able to follow procedures and work to deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good level of spoken and written English, with strong basic numeracy skills.
• PPT/MHE experience or certification (in house training) desirable.
• Flexible, reliable and willing to support other warehouse activities when required.
• Comfortable working in a cold and fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• You will be working in a fridge environment and must be OK working in the cold.
• A motivated team player, adaptable and enthusiastic, be able to work on your own initiative, familiar with warehouse processes and systems whilst adhering to health and safety rules,
• Receiving, check and put away stock accurately
• You will be part of a team loading and unloading trailers in a fast-paced environment where you'll be required to be on your feet for the duration of your shift,
• Completing quality and temperature checks
• Using PPT you will be required to handle goods at ground level, assembling orders, marshalling pallets, loading and unloading vehicles and a host of other important tasks.
• You’ll be a strong performer with a good attendance record and a willingness to learn new skills,
• You will be picking, assembling and wrapping customer orders..
• Maintain accurate stock records and follow stock rotation procedures
• Operating PPT/MHE safely and completing required checks
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Friday 19:00 to 06:00, Wednesday to Saturday 18:00 to 06:00 and Thursday and Friday (Part time)

Salary: £13.40 per hour

Based: Chesterfield
