Job summary

Nexus People is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Wellingborough to join a fast-paced distribution centre. You will pick orders using a voice system and work in a chilled area to help keep things moving smoothly.

Successful candidates will have LLOP or PPT experience, be able to lift up to 25 kg, be a team player, and show flexibility and reliability. Weekly pay and training are provided, with opportunities for permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Have LLOP or PPT experience.
• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits).
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders on a voice system with accuracy and care using a LLOP.
• Heavy lifting (up to 25kg) and working with cages.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
• Working with your team to hit daily targets.
• You will be working in the chilled area of the Distribution Centre (2°C-5°C).

Pay Rate: £12.69to £23.26per hour

• 12:00 -20:00 any 5 out of 7 days £14.17
• 14:00 - 22:00any 5 out of 7 days £14.77
• 22:00 - 06:00any 5 out of 7 days £16.05
• maximum OT rate £22.48

What You'll Be Doing

• Picking customer orders on a voice system with accuracy and care using a LLOP
• Heavy lifting (up to25kg) and working with cages
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised
• Working with your team to hit daily targetsYou will be working in the chilled area of the Distribution Centre so it can be cold!(2°C-5°C)

About you

• Have LLOP or PPT experience
• Able to work on your feet and lift items (within safe manual handling limits)
• Comfortable in a warehouse environment
• A team player who communicates well
• Flexible and able to follow instructions
• Punctual, with a good work ethic
• You will be required to undertake a Drug & Alcohol test before you start your new role.
