Job summary

Müller in Minsterley is hiring a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join a fast-paced team in a temperature-controlled environment. You will receive, store and dispatch goods, maintain stock accuracy and use SAP/WMS to track movements.

You’ll operate FLTs and PPT/POPT equipment, follow safety standards and contribute to productivity improvements. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities, paid lunch, and a strong pension; training and development are encouraged within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Valid FLT and High Reach licences are essential.
• Experience using SAP, WMS or similar warehouse systems is required.
• Experience with stock control and inventory management is needed.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail are important.
• Experience operating PPT and POPT equipment is preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse/logistics or food manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store and move products safely across warehouse and Cold Store areas.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Process stock movements using warehouse management systems.
• Operate and maintain manual handling equipment and related machinery.

Job Title: Warehouse Logistics Operative - Core

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours/Shift Pattern: 42 hours on average per week - 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am)

Salary: £32,011 per annum Plus overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x hourly rate.

About the role:

We are looking for a Warehouse Logistics Operative to join our team at Minsterley. This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced warehouse and logistics operation, where you'll help ensure products and materials are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll play an important role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service while contributing ideas to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

This role will involve working within temperature‑controlled environments, including Cold Store areas. Appropriate PPE and protective clothing will be provided.

What you'll be doing:

• Working across our warehouse and Cold Store areas, helping to receive, store and move products safely while maintaining accurate stock levels
• Receiving finished goods and raw materials accurately and on time
• Picking, preparing and dispatching orders
• Processing stock movements using warehouse management systems
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock accuracy
• Operating manual handling equipment, waste compactors and balers, including carrying out basic routine maintenance
• Operating and training on warehouse equipment including FLT (Fork Lift Truck), PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) and POPT (Powered Order Picking Truck)
• Following company policies, procedures and safety standards at all times
• Identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency and reduce waste
• Adhering to food safety, quality and hygiene standards
• Supporting warehouse housekeeping and recycling activities, including completing regular audits and closing any actions identified
• Meeting safety, quality, service and cost targets
• Using warehouse and stock management systems effectively
• Carrying out other reasonable duties within your skills and capabilities

What we're looking for:
