Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a permanent night shift position in Yate, near Bristol. You will join a well-established, family-run business in the timber and building materials sector, with full training and clear progression opportunities.

The role runs Sunday to Thursday nights, 9:30pm to 6am, with a salary around £33,000 and 31 days of annual leave. You will handle loading/unloading, move stock, and prepare orders for dispatch, with forklift experience viewed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience.
• Counterbalance forklift licence or experience preferred.
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical duties.
• Commutable to Yate and happy to work permanent night shifts.

In this role, you’ll work Sunday to Thursday nights, from 9:30pm to 6am, carrying out a range of warehouse duties including loading lorries, moving stock onto racking and preparing orders for dispatch. You’ll help ensure products are handled safely and efficiently, with forklift experience being beneficial to the role.

This role would suit a Warehouse Operative or similar, looking for a stable night-shift position with a company that values its employees and offers opportunities to progress.
