About the role

We operate the UK's ONLY flexible multi-temp, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick, and distribute products to the nation's best-loved food and drink brands every day, providing the best experience to our customers.

This role is based within our fast-paced warehouse and is an essential part of the Best Food Logistics business, ensuring the right products are delivered to our customers on time.

You will be responsible for

• Working with all team members to ensure that all corporate goals are achieved and maintained
• Using voice technology to unload supplier vehicles, perform checks to company standards, and process related to our clients' requirements, including taking temperature recordings where necessary
• Using a powered pallet truck (PPT) to ensure that all received products are checked, labeled, stacked safely, and wrapped as per current processes, enabling efficient order assembly without delays
• Complying with all health and safety policies, including wearing safety clothing and footwear, adhering to Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) procedures, and following fire safety protocols
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the warehouse, complying with Food Safety and Food Hygiene legislation
• Collaborating with other departments/depots professionally and courteously, undertaking additional duties as needed
• Working towards targets with an accurate and methodical approach

Hours of Work:

40 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

You will need

Basic numeracy and literacy skills, and being a good team player are essential.

Knowledge of Food Hygiene and experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
