About the role

We operate the UK's only flexible multi-temperature, shared customer delivery logistics network. We buy, warehouse, pick, and distribute products to the nation's best-loved food and drink brands daily, providing excellent customer experiences.

This role is based in our fast-paced warehouse and is crucial to our Best Food Logistics business, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.

You will be responsible for

• Collaborating with team members to achieve corporate goals
• Using voice technology to unload supplier vehicles, perform checks, and record temperatures as required
• Using a powered pallet truck (PPT) to receive, check, label, stack, and wrap products according to current policies, enabling smooth order assembly
• Complying with health and safety policies, including wearing safety gear and following MHE and fire safety procedures
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, keeping the warehouse clean and safe
• Cooperating with other departments and undertaking additional duties as needed
• Working towards targets with an accurate, methodical approach

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

You will need

Basic numeracy and literacy skills, good teamwork. Knowledge of food hygiene and similar experience are desirable but not essential.
