Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the packing department of a well-established global distributor. The role is full-time and based on site in the UK.

Responsibilities include picking stock with high accuracy, inspecting orders for “Right first time”, packing to strict cut-off times, releasing orders to couriers and performing cycle counts while maintaining safe storage and HS&E compliance. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit to perform manual handling and long periods of standing.
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate stock picking and packing.
• Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to multitask and stay organised in a busy packing dept.
• Numeracy skills for counts and basic checks.
• Flexible to suit business needs.

Responsibilities

• Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager.

Salary: £24,754.50 - £26,000 pa depending on experience + comany performance bonus paid 1/4

Hours: 8.00am-16.30pm Monday to Friday, including 1 hour for lunch

Working with our Client who is a well-established global distributor, we are now looking for a Warehouse Operative to work within their packing department on a permanent, full-time basis.

TO BE A CONSIDERATION FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORT OR LIVE LOCALLY.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:

• Picking of stock with a high level of accuracy
• Inspection of customer orders to ensure “Right first time”.
• Packing of customer orders to strict cut off times
• Releasing of orders to couriers
• Undertake cycle counts and stock takes as required.
• Maintain the safe handling, storage, and identification of goods in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Follow standard work instructions and maintain company procedures and follow all HS&E regulations.
• Any other Stores duties as requested by the Supervisor/line Manager.

Requirements of the Warehouse Operative:

• Be able to work the hours stated.
