Job summary

Alliance Automotive Group is seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee space and mechanical handling equipment while ensuring quality, budget, and environmental targets are met.

You will coordinate stock control systems, respond to customer communications, plan capacity, recruit and train staff, and drive health and safety standards, reporting regularly on performance and maintaining a motivated team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee space and handling equipment to meet quality, budget, and environmental targets.
• Coordinate the use of systems where necessary.
• Respond to customer communications by email and telephone.
• Keep stock control systems up to date and inventories accurate.
• Plan future capacity requirements.
• Organise recruitment and training of staff and monitor performance.
• Motivate and lead the workforce to meet productivity targets.
• Produce regular reports and statistics daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Brief team leaders daily and maintain health, safety, hygiene and security standards.
• Oversee planned maintenance of machinery and equipment.
