Job summary

Owens Group in Magor is seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our busy site on a permanent 4 on 4 off pattern. The role supports daily operations with early and late shifts (days 6am-6pm; nights 6pm-6am) and offers a competitive £13.00–£13.50 per hour.

Responsibilities include FLT daily checks, loading/unloading, stock location and cycle counts, stock control admin, accurate inbound/outbound shipments, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and customer

• Efficiently locating stock to the correct location.
• Be responsible for the stock checks and cycle counting of all stock.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Administration of stock control.
• Completion of and filing of all relevant paperwork.
• General warehouse duties.
• Good housekeeping.
• Company uniform and PPE supplied and ongoing training provided.

Owens Group is a fast developing, multi-site organization, with a large diverse customer base, making this an exciting opportunity.
Owens are looking to recruit an enthusiastic & conscientious Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver to support our Magor operation working a 4/4off Days or Nights shift pattern.
SHIFT PATTERN:
Days :
Shifts - 4 on 4 off - Days (permanent)
Hours - 6am - 6pm (one hour lunch break deducted)
Pay Rate: £13.00per hour

Nights:
Shifts - 4 on 4 off - Nights (permanent)
Hours - 6pm - 6am (one hour lunch break deducted)
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

The Role:

• Completion of FLT daily check sheets
• Load, unload, move, stack products and materials using a forklift truck
• Efficiently locating stock to the correct location.
• Be responsible for the stock checks and cycle counting of all stock.
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report any quality concerns/discrepancies.

• SAP experience ( DESIRABLE) - training will be provided
