Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Bristol is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our busy team. You will handle receiving, storing, picking orders and preparing vehicles for dispatch in ambient and temperature-controlled environments.

Shift 06:00–18:00, 4on 4off, with forklift and warehouse systems experience. Training provided; health and safety standards apply across fast-paced FMCG operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload and store incoming deliveries safely and efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, wrap and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Load vehicles using forklift trucks and warehouse lifting equipment.
  • Ensure stock accuracy and correct rotation (FIFO).
  • Use warehouse systems and scanning equipment (RDT) to manage stock.
  • Carry out quality and expiry checks on materials.
  • Ensure allergen materials are stored safely and separately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and product traceability.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized using Clean As You Go (CAYGO) practices.
  • Support new team members and contribute to continuous improvement.

Salary: £15 p/h (plus overtime outside of normal shift)

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Bristol. This role involves working across both ambient and temperature-controlled environments within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods through the warehouse, including receiving deliveries, storing materials, picking customer orders, and preparing vehicles for dispatch using warehouse equipment such as FLT trucks.

Shift Pattern: 06:00 – 18:00 4on 4off

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the warehouse team, you will:

Receive, unload and store incoming deliveries safely and efficiently
