Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Doncaster is seeking Skilled Production Operatives to join our production team. You will monitor products, perform quality checks, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This hands-on role requires good numeracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely on your feet with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• A good standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence to raise and elevate quality concerns when something isn't right.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for a fast-paced production environment.
• A flexible approach to work.
• Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another continuous-process environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring products as they exit the ovens and completing all required quality checks.
• Checking products against quality standards, customer specifications and company procedures.
• Carrying out temperature checks and accurately recording the results.
• Monitoring product size, weight and shape and identifying any non-conformances.
• Raising quality concerns with the Kitchen team quickly so that issues can be addressed at the earliest opportunity.
• Completing production paperwork accurately and on time to maintain full product traceability.
• Accurately transferring and recording information from different sources.
• Following food safety, hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Keeping your working area clean, tidy and organised, following our Clean As You Go (CAYG) approach.
• Working safely and following all site Health & Safety procedures.
• Supporting your colleagues and contributing to a positive, team-focused working environment.

We're looking for Skilled Production Operatives to join our team in Doncaster. This is an important role within our production operation, where you'll help make sure the products coming in or out of our ovens meet the high standards our customers expect.

You'll be responsible for monitoring product quality, carrying out essential checks, maintaining accurate records and quickly identifying anything that doesn't look quite right.

What you'll be doing

As our Skilled Operative, you'll play an important part in keeping production running safely, efficiently and to the right quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

This is a hands-on and physically active role, so you'll need to be comfortable working on your feet and carrying out manual tasks throughout your shift.
