Job summary

The Compleat Food Group in Doncaster is seeking Mixing Production Operatives to join our hands-on team. You’ll help keep production moving, ensure products meet high quality standards, and work with a supportive group to deliver safe, tasty foods.

The role runs Monday to Friday, nights 21:45–05:45 with a pay rate of £13.44 per hour and overtime available outside standard hours. This is a physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and records.

Qualifications

• A good standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence to raise and elevate quality concerns when something isn’t right.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for a fast-paced production environment.
• A flexible approach to work.
• Previous experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or another continuous-process environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the recipe is made as per the customer recipe and customer specification.
• Use Marko system to follow recipe.
• Ensure the product has full traceability and is recorded accurately.
• Ensure the product can be tracked through the production cycle.
• Completing and recording information as per the customer specification.
• Carrying out temperature checks and accurately recording the results.
• Monitoring product size, weight and shape and identifying any non-conformances.
• Raising quality concerns with the Kitchen team quickly so that issues can be addressed at the earliest opportunity.
• Completing production paperwork accurately and on time to maintain full product traceability.

We’re looking for Mixing Production Operatives to join our team in Doncaster. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our food manufacturing operation. You’ll help keep production moving, make sure our products meet the high standards our customers expect and work alongside a great team to deliver safe, high-quality food every day.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 21.45-05.45 (Nights)

Salary: £13.44 per hour (Overtime available out of working hours)

What you’ll be doing

As our Mixing Operative, you’ll play an important part in keeping production running safely, efficiently and to the right quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the recipe is made as per the customer recipe and customer specification
• Use Marko system to follow recipe
• Ensure the product has full traceability and is recorded accurately
• Ensure the product can be tracked through the production cycle
• Completing and recording information as per the customer specification
• Good element of physical fitness as lifting is a key element of this role
• Carrying out temperature checks and accurately recording the results.
• Monitoring product size, weight and shape and identifying any non-conformances.
• Raising quality concerns with the Kitchen team quickly so that issues can be addressed at the earliest opportunity.
• Completing production paperwork accurately and on time to maintain full product traceability.

This is a hands-on and physically active role, so you’ll need to be comfortable working on your feet and carrying out manual tasks throughout your shift.
