Job summary

DPD UK in Worcester is seeking high-energy Warehouse Operatives for a fast-paced role. You will be on your feet throughout shifts, loading, unloading and sorting parcels and using scanners and conveyors to keep deliveries on track.

The position offers training from day one, uniform and PPE, with a 40-hour work week under a fixed-term contract until January 15, 2027. London rate details exist; benefits include health services and life assurance.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy.
• Handling items up to 25kg and staying on your feet during shifts.

• Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining health, safety and housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse.
• Conducting quality checks and reporting discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborating with team to meet daily targets and shift goals.

Job Description

• Contract Type: FTC until Jan 15th 2027 – 40 Hours Per Week
• Days of Work: 5 days per week starting after 12pm

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift

You’ll Receive: Full training from Day 1 and all required uniform and PPE
