Zusammenfassung

DPD UK is seeking high-energy Warehouse Operatives to join our Stoke depot. This permanent, part-time role offers 30 hours per week with a 15:00–21:00 shift, five days a week. You’ll load, unload, scan, sort parcels, and keep safety and accuracy at the forefront while supporting a fast-paced delivery operation.

You’ll receive full training from Day 1, uniform and PPE, and access a benefits package including health services, life assurance, and employee discounts.

Job Description

• Contract Type: Permanent – 30 hours
• Days of Work: 5 days a week.
• Hours of Work: 15:00 - 21:00

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling and reporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
