Staffline is recruiting a Warehouse Operative at a regional distribution centre in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is full-time with fixed shifts from 2:00 pm to 9:45 pm, offering a starting rate of £13.95 per hour with overtime opportunities.

Duties include picking, packing and dispatching orders. Basic maths and English are needed, with full training provided. The position is temp to perm and well-connected by transport, with car parking on site.

Job description

Warehouse Operative for our client - A Regional Distribution Centre for our client, supplying to the high street Superstores.

Location

Stoke-on-Trent.

The rate of pay is

£13.95 per hour, will

increase to a higher rate in the near future!

Overtime is available at this site after working 36.25 hours paid at time and a half.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, the hours of work are:

- 2pm to 9:45pm

This role would not be suitable for students or part-time workers due to the shift requirements.

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking
• Packing
• Dispatching

There are several departments, picking, intake and dispatch.

Heavy lifting is expected, and colleagues will be on their feet for the entire shift.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect Warehouse Operative will have basic maths and English skills and be able to understand instructions.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
