Job summary

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work afternoons in Wellingborough, at the client's main distribution centre for home and furniture products. The role is full-time with fixed shifts and ongoing training.

Hourly pay starts at £13.50, with overtime paid at £24.30. Shifts run 2pm–10pm, 10am–2pm or 2pm–6pm, five days out of seven, Monday to Friday when needed.

Qualifications

• Physically fit for a demanding role with heavy lifting up to 20 kg.
• Full training provided; prior experience desirable but not required.
• Able to work fixed shifts and meet KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Drive PPT / LLOP in daily duties.
• Carry out general warehouse tasks.
• Pick and pack orders.
• Lift up to 20 kg.
• Maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Work to KPIs and targets.

Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse Operative for our client's main distribution centre for home and furniture products.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to work afternoons in Wellingborough.

The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour.

Overtime is available and is paid at £24.30 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts. The hours of work are:

• 2pm to 10pm
• 10am to 2pm
• 2pm to 6pm

Shift patterns:

• Monday to Friday
• 5 out of 7

Your Time at Work

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties include:

• Driving PPT / LLOP
• Generic warehouse duties
• Picking and packing
• Ability to lift up to 20kg
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Work efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment by following all safe systems of work, standard operating procedures and hygiene requirements

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker must be physically fit as the job is demanding, with some manual handling and heavy lifting up to 20KG.

Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
