Job summary

Great Bear in Haverhill is recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our chilled warehouse team on a 12-hour day shift pattern (07:00–19:00), 4 on, 4 off, including weekends. You will pick stock, load/unload trailers, and ensure accuracy while maintaining safety and housekeeping in a cold 2–4°C environment.

The role offers a base salary of £29,511 per year with performance-based bonuses that can add up to around £1,200 monthly for high performers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar warehouse environment.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment (2–4°C).
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and KPI targets.
• Good numerical accuracy and communication.

Responsibilities

• Confident working to clear targets and KPI’s and delivering strong performance.
• Loading, unloading, and picking of stock and orders within the chilled warehouse.
• Loading and unloading different type of trailers using RF Gun to scan pallets.
• Assemble customer orders from the order profile.
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked.
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Haverhill team, supporting our Warehouse Pick operation in a modern, fast-paced environment. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in picking stock, keeping stock moving safely, accurately and efficiently while working as part of a supportive and dependable team.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 12-hour day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern, including weekends, from 07:00 to 19:00.

The role is based in a chilled warehouse environment, so you will need to be comfortable working in temperatures between 2 and 4 degrees.

We operate a Banked hour contracts based on an average of a 40 hour week - £29,511 per annum.

Salary: £29,511 per annum

On top of this we offer performance based Pick Bonuses with earning potential up to an extra £1200 per month for high performers.

What you'll be doing:
