Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wolverhampton is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our fulfilment operation. A typical day involves picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment, and supporting stores team with parts to meet daily demand.

We value a flexible, can-do attitude, with a background in warehousing operations. SAP experience is a plus; training is provided. The role offers a permanent full-time contract with shift patterns across two weeks and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Background in warehousing operations essential.
• Experience with SAP beneficial.
• Excellent organisational skills with speed and accuracy.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not a deal-breaker. Training is provided!

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Work within a stores team to pick, degrease, kit and pack parts to be delivered to the customers factory, meeting daily demand whilst being flexible to support the pick of urgent orders.
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading.
• Issuing of parts using both PC and a hand held device.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse.

Pay Rate: £26,404.01 Grade: RCS P Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Week 1, 05:30am to 13:00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 05:30am 12:00pm & Week 2, 13:15pm to 21:00pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 13:15pm to 19:00pm Location: Wolverhampton
