Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for the Wakefield area, based at Tingley (WF3 1SP). The role involves selecting and sorting parcels for customers on a rotating early/mid/late shift pattern, with shifts ranging between 8 and 12 hours.

You must be able to work all three shifts and comply with the annualised hours system. The position is physically demanding, requiring manual handling of heavy products, careful packing, and strict adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical warehouse environments is preferred.
• Ability to handle heavy products safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing.

Responsibilities

• Pick and sort packages accurately for customers.
• Manually handle heavy products (beer kegs, etc.).
• Assemble beers, wines, spirits and ciders for customers.
• Comply with health and safety standards at all times.
• Be an ambassador for DHL Supply Chain with a can-do, right-first-time approach.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and be willing to train on MHE such as FLT.

• 10:00 - finish
• 16:00 - finish
• MUST be able to work all three shifts.

• MUST be flexible with finish times, willing to work bank holidays
• Annualised hours basis
