Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join our team in West Hallam (DE7 6HE). This is a full-time, permanent role with shifts 05:30–22:00, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days out of 7.

An hourly rate of £12.71 (or £13.71 with MHE authorisation) is paid weekly, with 33 days of annual leave and a range of benefits. You will load vehicles for delivery, operate lifting equipment when trained, uphold safety and KPI targets, and support investigations into incidents as part of our busy warehouse

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferable.
• Experience of WMS.
• Counterbalance / Reach Truck licence required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely load vehicles with products for delivery on specified routes, check and confirm loads for completeness and accuracy, report any discrepancies, and offload incoming products into the appropriate warehouse storage area.
• Operate mechanical lifting equipment if appropriately trained.
• Meet the standards of performance, behaviour, and attendance in line with company policies and procedures, while effectively undertaking all aspects of warehouse operations to a high standard and working independently to achieve KPI targets.
• Assist management with investigations into accidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences, while promptly reporting any breaches of the company's Health and Safety procedures.
