Job summary

Culina is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for full-time work in a chilled environment. You will load and unload pallets, ensure precise inbound/outbound documentation, and report any faults on trailers or machinery. You will secure loads, meet productivity targets, and follow health and safety policies to protect colleagues and customers.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced distribution setting across multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load/unload in line with company policies.
• Complete inbound and dispatch documentation accurately.
• Report trailer or MHE faults and position VOR vehicles accordingly.
• Ensure goods are picked/assembled correctly as instructed.
• Secure dispatched loads before leaving loading bay.
• Meet productivity targets while working safely under SSOW/HACCP policies.
• Receive and notify customer returns to the Stock Controller.

Job Description

• To ensure you load/unload product strictly in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
• To ensure the correct documentation is completed for all inbound and dispatch loads.
• Reporting any trailer or MHE faults in line with Company procedures and ensuring VOR vehicles are placed in the designated areas.
• To remain vigilant in ensuring goods are picked and assembled accurately as per instructions.
• To ensure dispatched loads are properly secured prior to leaving the loading bay.
• To reach and maintain the standards required to meet the Company's productivity targets.
• Ensure all practices and procedures are safely carried out in line with the Company's Health & Safety policy, SSOWs and HACCP regulations, where appropriate, and to challenge colleagues who fail to adhere to any such rules or regulations.
• Ensure customer returns are received, recorded and notified to the appropriate Stock Controller

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a chilled/cold environment
• Experience of working within an environment where achieving deadlines and quality of work are critical
• Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
• Conscientious and reliable nature
• Positivate 'can do' attitude
