Job summary

GXO Screwfix in Runcorn is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to support inbound, outbound and stock control activities on a busy distribution site.

You're on a two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1 06:00 to 14:00, Week 2 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday, with night positions covering Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00.

The role is full-time and permanent with a competitive annual salary, staff discounts and progression opportunities.

• Experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to hit KPIs.

• Experience in a fast-paced environment with high-volume workloads.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound, outbound and stock control.
• Pick and pack products accurately for delivery orders with care and attention to detail.
• Work efficiently to meet KPIs, both independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment following SOPs and hygiene rules.

Here at GXO Screwfix, we are looking forWarehouse Operativesto join us at our site in Runcorn. From picking and packing to dispatching orders, you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

You will be working on afull time, permanentbasis, following a two-week rotating shift pattern. Week 1 - 06:00 to 14:00 / Week 2 - 14:00 to 22:00, Monday to Friday . We also offer nights positions covering Sunday - Thursday 22:00-06:00

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Support the day-to-day warehouse operation by carrying out inbound, outbound and stock control activities
• Pick and pack products accurately for retail delivery orders, handling stock with care and a high level of attention to detail
• Work efficiently and flexibly to meet operational KPIs and targets, both independently and as part of a wider team
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment by following all Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures and hygiene requirements

What you'll need to succeed at GXO:

• Any experience within a warehouse setting is advantageous but NOT essential
• Worked independently and as part of a team to achieve KPI's and targets effectively
• To understand the importance of delivering excellent customer service
• Worked in a fast-paced environment where a high-volume workload must be achieved
• Can show initiative and provide solutions to their team to work more effectively
