Job summary

Jobsworth Recruitment are currently on the hunt for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Evesham specialising in the fresh produce industry. We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Operative to join the warehouse team, responsible for picking, packing, loading, unloading and preparing goods for shipment.

This temp-to-perm role offers a pay rate of £12.71 per hour, with bonuses once you are taken on as a direct employee, and an alternating shift pattern including Sundays through

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the fresh produce industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
• A decent level of English is required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking and packing products.
• Using a handheld picking device to tick items off as they are picked.
• Load and unload goods from lorries and pallets.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper storage.
• Perform heavy lifting as necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area following the 'Clean as you go' policy.

Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Operative to join the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picking/packed/loaded/unloaded and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Pay and Working Hours

Pay rate £12.71 on a Temp-to-Perm position

Bonuses will be included once you are taken on as a direct employee.

Alternating shift pattern:

Week 1: Sunday to Thursday

Week 2: Sunday to Friday

Times:

Sunday: 6am-Finish

Monday-Friday: 11am-Finish

Duties of the role
