Job summary

Alpkit Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our small team. The role covers picking, packing, unloading and loading stock to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

You will work 37.5 hours per week in a permanent position and contribute to sustainable business practices while supporting a fast-paced supply chain.

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate in a safe manner.
• Enjoy working within a small team of warehouse operatives.
• Previous experience in a similar warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Qualification in warehousing or forklift driving would be ideal but is not essential.

Responsibilities

Location: Oak House Alpkit Warehouse, Moorgreen industrial estate, NG16.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

In this role you will perform general warehouse duties in our small team, working to maintain a smooth operation including picking and packing, unloading, and loading of stock.

We are responsible in the way we run our business and as part of all our roles at Alpkit, we ask staff to be conscious of our sustainable working practices.

About the Team

The Warehouse Team is small but mighty, a vital part of our supply chain. This team ensures all our product is picked, packed, and sent out on time to our lovely customers to help them go nice places, do good things. It’s fast paced and demanding but there are regular brew breaks to keep you going!

About You

• You will have a high level of accuracy
• Operate in a safe manner
• Enjoy working within a small team of warehouse operatives
• Previous experience of working in a similar warehouse environment would be beneficial.
• Qualification in warehousing or forklift driving would be ideal but is not necessary.
