Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our client base in Northampton, including Grange Park and Swan Valley.

This role offers full-time work with weekly pay, overtime opportunities at enhanced rates, and on-site parking. Training provided and genuine long-term progression are available.

Duties include picking and packing orders, sorting parcels, loading/unloading stock, and supporting manufacturing processes in a modern warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Must be able to commute to Northampton, including Grange Park or Swan Valley.
• Willingness to work full-time shifts (AM/PM) and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders.
• Sorting parcels and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Loading, unloading and moving stock within the warehouse.
• Supporting manufacturing and production processes.
• Carrying out basic stock checks and documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.

Warehouse Operative – Northampton – Up to £14.38 Per Hour + Overtime

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established clients based across Northampton, including Grange Park and Swan Valley.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing full-time work, weekly pay, overtime opportunities and genuine long-term career progression, with temporary-to-permanent opportunities available.

Up to £14.38 Per Hour | Up to £21.57 Overtime | Full-Time Work | AM & PM Shifts | Ongoing Opportunities | Training Provided

We have a range of warehouse and production-based opportunities available, including picking and packing, goods handling, dispatch, manufacturing support and general warehouse duties.

This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Parcel Sorter, Despatch Operative or General Operative.

Shifts

• Full-time positions available
• Morning shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm
• Afternoon shifts: 2:00pm–10:00pm
• Five out of seven days or Monday-to-Friday rotating shifts, depending on the assignment
• Some positions require rotating between morning and afternoon shifts
• Shift availability and working patterns depend on the vacancy

Rates of Pay

• £14.00–£14.38 per hour – Basic rate, depending on assignment
• £21.00–£21.57 per hour – Overtime rate, depending on assignment
• Enhanced overtime rates apply when qualifying conditions are met

Day-to-Day Duties

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Sorting parcels and preparing goods for dispatch
• Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse
• Supporting manufacturing and production processes
• Moving materials and feeding production lines
• Using hand tools and equipment where required
• Carrying out basic assembly and preparation tasks
• Completing stock checks and basic documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following all site health and safety procedures
