Job summary

WARCOV in Leicestershire, England, is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join a busy distribution operation in Lutterworth, LE17. The role involves picking, packing, loading/unloading, stock checks and using a warehouse management system.

Training is available for suitable candidates. Working Monday to Friday with two shift options (06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00), you will help maintain a safe, efficient warehouse and support various areas to meet daily targets.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but training can be provided.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and able to meet targets.
• Flexibility to undertake a variety of duties.
• Experience with MHE is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders.
• Packing goods accurately and securely.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Moving stock around the warehouse.
• Carrying out inventory and stock checks.
• Using warehouse management systems and completing paperwork.
• Operating MHE where required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace.
• Following all health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.
• Undertaking other general warehouse duties as required.

Warehouse Operative

Location: Lutterworth, LE17

Pay Rate: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Shifts: 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse operation based in Lutterworth, LE17. The role is varied, and successful candidates will be required to support different areas of the warehouse depending on operational requirements. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Packing goods accurately and securely
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Carrying out inventory and stock checks
• Using warehouse management systems and completing relevant paperwork
• Operating MHE (Material Handling Equipment) where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Undertaking other general warehouse duties as required

Candidates with previous MHE experience are welcome, including those who do not currently hold an MHE licence. Relevant training may be provided depending on the equipment and operational requirements.
