Job summary

RHE in the United Kingdom is seeking a warehouse operative for a fixed-term contract from 5 October 2026 to 18 December 2026. The role focuses on loading/unloading, pallet building, scanning orders, and ensuring health and safety standards on site.

You will work on shifts including Saturdays, Sundays, and weekdays across early and late windows, with training provided for equipment and warehouse systems; a valid MHE license is required.

Qualifications

• Basic English and Maths required for the role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Valid MHE license and VNA/Reach experience preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items and operate in a loading bay environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually lift and move heavy items.
• Unload and load containers.
• Follow health and safety standards at all times.
• Work to customer requirements and SOPs to meet KPIs.
• Tipping of trailers and pallet building as required.
• Book deliveries using handheld scanners and log activities.
• Store goods in designated locations and perform picking tasks.
• Scan, pack and label orders for dispatch.
• Complete rework tasks as directed by customers.

Job description

What You Can Expect :

This contract is from 5th October 2026 to 18th December 2026

Shift Patterns:

• Saturday 10:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00
• Sunday 10:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00
• (Saturday shift does not go live until 24th October 2026)

Key Responsibilities:

• Be able to manually handle heavy items/lifting.
• Unloading and loading containers.
• Ensure all health and safety standards are followed and adhered to
• Ensure that you are working to the customer requirements, relevant SOPS and achieving the business KPI's.
• Tipping of trailers that will contain cartons of products ordered by our customers. This will require some form of lifting and building of pallets.
• Booking deliveries in once received using handheld scanners. This work is usually completed on a loading bay dock.
• Putting away the products that have entered the warehouse into allocated locations. This will require some form of lifting and walking around the warehouse (training will be provided if required to operate machineries).
• Carrying out picking tasks according to customer requirements. This will require some form of lifting and walking around the warehouse and will need to be completed within agreed timescales.
• Scanning, packing and labelling of orders that need to be dispatched to customers. This will usually take place at a packing station which will require standing.
• Completing rework requirements that are stipulated by the customer. This will usually take place at a workstation which will require standing.
• Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard completed in timely manner to able next stage to be carried out.
• Ensure all consumables and equipment are treated with care and returned to the correct place after use.
• Undertake other responsible tasks that may be required from time to time as directed by the needs of the business and/or your Line Manager
• Ensure that colleagues are logging into SFDC.
• Ensure that time sheets or equivalent system are updated throughout the shift.

What You Bring:

• Basic level of English and Maths required for the role, both written and spoken with good communication skills.
• Preferably experience and understanding of a warehouse management system will be of an advantage
• GSCE Maths & English grade B or above or equivalent
• You will be required to have a valid MHE license and experience driving VNA or Reach.
