Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Lutterworth is seeking a Warehouse Operative to play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation. You will be involved in picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced setting, with hands-on duties including handling and loading/unloading, while maintaining general warehouse housekeeping.

The role requires previous warehouse experience, a flexible approach, and good organisational skills. Reach Truck or Counterbalance experience is desirable.

• Must have basic paperwork/documentation accuracy.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Handling and loading/unloading tasks.
• General housekeeping of the warehouse.
• Use of manual handling equipment as directed by management.
• Ensure administration documentation is completed accurately.
• Process returns with correct documentation.

Pay Rate: £28,185.58 + 8% Shift Premium, additional MHE Allowance for Reach Truck OR Counterbalance, Additional £75 Per Month
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Sunday to Thursday, 3pm to 12am
Location: Lutterworth

Play a key role at the centre of our fulfilment operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment
• Getting hands-on with manual tasks, from handling to loading and unloading
• General housekeeping of the warehouse
• Use of manual handling equipment to complete activities / tasks as prescribded by line management
• Ensure all administration documentation is completed accurately to the required standards
• Ensure all returns are accompanied with the correct documentation and that they are processed accordingly

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Reach Truck OR Counterbalance is desirable
• Have a flexible, friendly approach with a can-do attitude
• Have excellent organisational skills along with speed and accuracy
• Previous warehouse experience
