Job summary

Staff Selection UK Ltd is recruiting Parcel Sorters for a busy distribution site in Runcorn, WA7. The role involves sorting, scanning, loading and dispatch preparation in a fast-paced warehouse.

Shifts run 1pm to 9:30pm with an immediate start. Training is provided and there are regular night shifts, ongoing work for suitable candidates and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Able to follow Instructions and warehouse procedures.
• Comfortable with manual handling and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels by postcode, destination and delivery route.
• Scan parcels using handheld scanners.

• Prepare parcels for dispatch and check accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Work with colleagues to meet daily targets.

Parcel Sorters – Days/ Afternoon– Immediate Start Location: Runcorn, WA7 Shift: 1pm - 9.30pm Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Start Date: Immediate – starting today Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing Staff Selection UK are currently recruiting Parcel Sorters to join a busy and fast-paced parcel distribution operation based in Runcorn, WA7. This is a great opportunity for people looking for regular night shift warehouse work, with an immediate start available.

The Role

As a Parcel Sorter, you will be working as part of a busy warehouse team, helping to make sure parcels are processed, sorted and moved efficiently throughout the site.

Your duties will include:

• Sorting parcels by postcode, destination and delivery route
• Scanning parcels using handheld scanners
• Loading and unloading parcels
• Moving parcels around the warehouse
• Preparing parcels for dispatch
• Checking parcels and ensuring they are handled correctly
• General warehouse duties as required
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Working Hours

1pm - 9.30pm

You must be available to work the full shift and be able to get to the site reliably for the required start time.

About You

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals who are comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment. Previous warehouse or parcel sorting experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
